Mr. William Truman Sanfratello, age 86, of Cedartown, GA, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2012 following an extended illness. Mr. Sanfratello was born on May 22, 1925 in Carroll County, to his parents, the late William "Willie" Sanfratello & Annie Burchfield Sanfratello. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son in law, Jerry Rudeseal, a grandson, Glen "Rudy" Rudeseal, as well as four sisters & one brother. Mr. Sanfratello was retired from a long career with the General Motors Corporation. He was a veteran, proudly serving with the U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers during World War II. He saw combat action in the European Theater of Operations and was heavily involved in the historic "Battle of the Bulge", near the War's end. He was decorated with several meritorious medals and was also a Purple Heart recipient. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his loving & dedicated wife, whom he married in April of 1946, Mrs. Pauline Goss Sanfratello; his daughters & son in law, Mahalah Rudeseal, Jean Reeves and Joan & Tony Reece; his sisters, Lillian Beck & Mavis Arrowood; his grandchildren, Yolanda Ivey, Lavicia Ballew, Carey Adamiec, Tony Reeves, Gary Reeves & Kevin Reeves; ten great grandchildren, nieces & nephews also survive.
Graveside & Interment services for Mr. William Truman Sanfratello will be conducted on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. from the Polk Memory Gardens with the Rev. Danny Tucker & the Rev. Billy Vines officiating. A Flag Detail from the Brewster-Cleveland Post 86 Honor Guard will present the United States Flag at graveside. The family will recieve friends on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home. The following Gentlemen are asked to serve as Pallbearers: Tony Reece, Tony Reeves, Gary Reeves, Kevin Reeves, Hayden Childres, Chris Ballew & Cody Rudeseal.
