Mrs. Jenny Lee Sills Lankford, age 53, of Cedartown, Ga., passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2012.

Jenny was born on March 26, 1959 in Rome, Ga., the daughter of Mr. Charles Sills and Mrs. Shirley Walden Sills. She had worked for Fred's Department Store and at the time of her illness, she was employeed as a Manager, by Michael's Art's and Craft's of Rome, GA. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Walden Sills and a step son, Job Lamar Lankford.

Jenny Lankford is survived by her husband; Joel Lankford, her sons; Codie Diamond and Charles Bell, a daughter; Amanda Diamond, her father and step mother; Charles and Linda Sills, her grandson; Logan Diamond, her step son; Joseph Lankford, mother in law; Bess Lankford, brother and sister in law; Scott and Jenna Lankford. Nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

In keeping with Mrs. Lankford's wishes, she will be cremated. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Litesey Funeral Home.
